Ólafur Árheim is an Icelandic filmmaker. He graduated from the Icelandic Film School in 2015 and has made a feature film (Eftirleikir, premiered at RIFF 2024), a number of shorts and thousands of commercials as a director, cinematographer and editor in the advertising industry since 2016. In 2023 he completed a BA in History, with research into the American occupation of Iceland during WWII.

The company, Árheim ehf, was initially founded in 2016 to produce the feature film Eftirleikir (e. Aftergames) and has since expanded as an independent production company for film, TV, and commercial work.
